The on-site rooftop onsen offers impressive views alongside multiple pools, perfect for unwinding after exploring. Conveniently located under 10 minutes from the JR station, this hotel also provides free ramen in the evenings, a delicious treat after a long day.
The private bathroom shower experienced intermittent water outages during peak times, making it frustrating when trying to enjoy a hot shower. The twin room felt a bit cramped, and the cleanliness could use a bit of extra attention in some corners. The breakfast buffet had a limited selection, and the dining area was compact, leading to some wait times during busy periods.

Awesome experience with great amenities!
I had a Queen Room for one night, and everything was fantastic! The onsen experience was top-notch, with indoor and outdoor options that were clean and calming. Ramen served at night was a delightful surprise, and the staff were always helpful. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and close to several attractions. One thing to improve would be the quality of the provided pajamas for the onsen, as they felt a bit worn out.

I found Dormy Inn in Matsumoto to be a great spot for my stay. The location is super convenient, just a short walk from the train station—easy access! My room was cozy, with everything I needed like a comfortable bed and basic amenities. The rooftop onsen was a highlight. soaking there with beautiful views was incredible after a day of exploring. The complimentary ramen at night was a nice touch, truly delicious and perfect for late-night cravings. I also appreciated the breakfast, which offered a mix of Japanese and Western dishes, though it could have had a bit more variety. One downside was the lack of enough towels. having just one felt a bit insufficient. I encountered some minor issues with the shower. Water seemed to cut off occasionally, which was disappointing. Overall, the staff were helpful and made my stay enjoyable.

In my wife’s opinion, the room sizes could be better for families with kids.
